The atmosphere in the bar is great, and it's a decent lunch spot with friendly and timely service. I went here 2 times, and got the BLT and the burger with everything. There's no sides that comes with the sandwiches (other than pickle slices), so it gets a bit pricey if you want something else with it. The BLT has a lot of crunchy bacon, so if you like your BLT sandwiches bacony and crispy, this sandwich is for you. It's a little dry, however. The burger was juicy and big-- pretty filling on its own. No complaints for the burger. I also tried some deep fried mushrooms, and they were pretty good! Good with ranch-- a tasty side/appetizer. It's not the best sandwich place I've been to, but this place is a decent visit if you're looking for tasty sandwiches.

Wonderful ambiance. We loved the giant hearthstone fireplace and the server was very knowledgeable.

The food is always amazing. Pricing is more than fair for the huge portions. Great bar ambiance with a great jukebox.

Local watering hole serving the locals since the 1930's. Love visiting this place for the vibe and energy but return as always for the food. The bond burger is well seasoned on a grilled focaccia bread and topped with lettuce tomatoe and onion. It is large and I prefer to use the smash method since the bread is hearty and won't fall apart. The homemade ranch sauce with fresh dill is good with the deep fried portabella slices or deep fried pickle spears. Awesome jukebox btw don't forget to say bye to Rudy the kangaroo above the exit on the way out.Bronx Bar Burger

If you're looking for a tasty Burger in the Midtown Detroit area, and aren't looking for a sophisticated place, this is a great spot. The burger was very tasty and on very good grilled bread. But the onion rings stole the show. Yum!

How have I never been to this place before? Iconic very old building. Shared a fried bologna sandwich and a burger. Had to be one of the best bar burger I have had. Huge ,loaded with toppings and tasted great, as did othe sandwich. Added in 2 modelos. Bill with tip $38. Bartender was semi efficient- had zero personality.

Dive bar with fast service, good food (love the classic burger) and a chill, somewhat mixed crowd.
